At last .... Party comrades committed

certainly surprised me a few days ago Comrades (Ricardo, Pepe , Roberto ) led by Mariana Aylwin, I was invited to create a whole blog platform Congress of the DC , riiiiiiight at last a political party chooses to open to institutional blogs, and what better than the game where he played from age 18.

The blog is called e-conference, and looks to all members and no, let's talk about the future of Chilean DC, that we should make tracks we play, and what better to see our faces, listening to proposals, debate, and most importantly restore an area of brotherhood in a party that has bled clan struggles which will be setting our policies for a new world.

to recover the DC to Chile, to modernize it, welcome to the era of the Blogs

How To Clean Medela Cooler Bag

Blogs Freedom of Expression in Bush

was reading the third today (sab.22.jul) and I was surprised to see a group 60 legislators of the State of Wisconsin, asked to suspend Professor Kevin Barrett, University of Wisconsin in Madison because he said in a program television that the attack on the twin towers of 11-s was articulated by the White House itself and specifically by U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney . Against this the Rector initiated an investigation and concluded that Professor Barrett is qualified to give such opinions.

The really disturbing what has already been said, is that nobody tried or mentioned freedom of expression as a fundamental right, we see only the impact on the monopoly of an idea or an image that has been destroyed (the idea of a Muslim terrorist) . It seems rather that everyone gives a fit of "intuitionism" in the moment without thinking that, although the teacher may be deeply Barret wrong what is the kind of imputation? "Offending the national American sentimental? Distrust "in government? "Show something different? is odd because major authors of freedom of expression are in the U.S., then, frankly do not understand as a people can not (I say people in the indirect sense, as a representative) to grasp that someone can say something be true to himself without being harmful to anyone, this is not even hate speech to call to rebel against the system or things of this kind, it is only an opinion. Then only is punishable respect other opinions, which, to my knowledge, has the same specific gravity as that of another human being.

What to do with the DCU? I believe deeply that we can not censor a speech or discussion ex-ante nor sanctions as harsh a view. Emmanuel Mounier and he said it, Hegel say many years ago when he spoke of freedom in self-consciousnesses. We hear the views and take them the weight they have in a democracy that does not need to censor some speeches to protect the democracy we know take care of myself when people understand the value of this, but if so it is doubtful not intervene to save what little peace remains (as in the U.S.). Freedom must be accompanied by the fraternity, you may not like the French liberals, but as a feeling of society, communion that respects the opinion of one of its members, even when he thinks different (in this extremely interesting again is the value we assign to the rights of minorities).

The issue I think is confusing because sometimes I think people try to hide the sun with a finger trying to hide the freedom of others believe it will always be so. In Chile we have a great example, and called dictatorship. And frankly, I can even make any difference what the views of Mr. Barrett, but we must protect people from the cohartan powers improperly, in that we must all guarantors of fundamental rights of men.

Greetings! Ricardo
