What happened in St. George?

In view of complaints made by residents of San Jorge on the health problems suffered as a result delusa of agrochemicals in the area, the Appeals Chamber of the town of San Jorge applied precautionary unprincipio for neighbors. The same applies for UNL to make a report queanalizara "the degree of toxicity" of glyphosate and other chemicals.
Before this court order, the UNL parasolicitarle took three months to judge what type of analysis should focus on cuálesagroquímicos and within 6 months that was not enough lesotorgaba.
In the brief filed by the UNL reminds the judge that lapresidenta Cristina Fernandez created in the month of January 2009 nacionald Research Commission to study the problems caused poragroquímicos, and that the body produced through the Committee Ethics delConicet and ad hoc Interdisciplinary Scientific Council, a análisisvinculado to study the effects of glyphosate and its formulated for human and environmental lasalud.
In short, the first response nuestraUniversidad was kicking the ball to the national government rather than ponergrupos research laboratories and lapoblación knowledge available in this case, of St. George.
Finally, the report presented by the UNL signed by Daniel Scacchi (Director Cetri Litoral) and Eduardo Matozo (Secretary of VinculaciónTecnológica) was limited to only collect technical data (chemical, ecological, biological, medical) without contributions from social sciences to enable brindenelementos understand the problem from a social, political, environmental and economic.

If these are the policies followed nuestrafacultad and UNL, it is not surprising that when it comes to being able to contribute as part of the state to take a precautionary measure on glyphosate opt out.

Letter To Church Wedding

Torneazo painted the Creation and Development

On this occasion, be asked to those who come to the right to the assistance of a story / literature (for boys ranging from 4 to 8 years) to contribute to the work being done Revolt Project partners (click to read more) in the La Vuelta del Paraguay. Notably, not one exclusive requirement (the books may be new or not does not matter, as they understand the role they play in the workshops). We invite you to spend a different day in a foreign place for most. It is in us closer to where I should be: the neighborhood.

REVOLT 2010 DRAFT
think to "The Revolt" as a political action. Revolver as a collective project in the pursuit of liberating identities, linked to a new territorial ... be constructed. Revolver from the territory "neighborhood" as one of the trenches from which appeal to build a much needed us. Against the capitalist proposal including "marginalized", we propose the problematization of the social structure itself, which would have us believe that the center is the whole and the margin synonymous with the disposable.
Therefore, we understand the practice as a sum of two spaces that have been building and are at the forefront: a practical space, now taking shape in the neighborhood "La Vuelta del Paraguay", and a theoretical space. As a group, we are organized horizontally, from the discussions and decisions that take place in general meetings, work in committees and plenary sessions. Land Group

From this year, is making its way an attempt to form a front that we along with some adults in the neighborhood. With tasks of relief and recovery of oral history, the idea of the group is going to generate a participatory counterdiscourse
strengthening local identities.
We meet as well, subaltern voices to be listening for the first time, contributing to knowledge the territory to empower the action: his defense.

stirred Thought
The proposal arises from the initiative of some members from the need for space to open a political formation time and a place to put a play practice and theory. The challenge is to choose what we read, who they read and why. This new area of "The Revolt" proposes
monthly meetings in which texts can be shredded, processed, chewed, shredded and re-paste to be others ... scrambled, stirring ... as they please.

Cultural Workshops
The proposed project aims pedagogical education grounded in popular and currently takes the form of "cultural workshops": Murga (The Crazy barrio), plastic and stirring workshop (with the little ones). The basic idea is to create for the resistance, arguing from our place
art as political subjects. Added to this process, the projection of a common artistic space within the neighborhood. Today
Sumarto with input you can not supportive, but committed, bringing a storybook children's literature, which will join "The Magic Box", within the workshop fun with the little ones. Contact Project

Naughty Birthday Cakes Men

Today it seems that women are no more territories you win and you have already obtained all rights to be equal, but this is not true from the moment we are embedded and participating in a governed society, conceived, designed and built by values, attitudes and habits of male minds, which reinforce the idea of female inferiority and where women must show they have the qualities traditionally attributed to the man to fit in and be accepted.
believe it is important to understand and discuss gender issues in the choice of careers, and in its course and especially when eventually work. It is something that concerns us tod @ s full of uncertainties when deciding what we do, what we want to be.
Become male and triumph:
Many women who work in the area of the hard sciences or in prominent political positions say they have never felt discriminated against because of their sex . Consider the alleged barriers and resigned as personal decisions taken to avoid conflicts (usually between the scope of work and family, or with respect to the interaction in the working group), not as external obstacles.
The emancipation of women is required to have today on their backs greater responsibilities, what is known as "double day" of women: work + home. This therefore brings a greater effort if also socially and politically involved.
The problem is not only a backlog of work, but the skills in which women have been socialized to be desirable for us (cooperation, care , responsibility, affection) are contrary to what we call in the profession and how comfortable are a male socialization (competition, aggression, detachment). never questions the ways of doing science or politics, and values that govern: individualism, competition and the pursuit of hegemony.

She has not been a lifeless body in the course of history, but simply this patriarchal society devoted to make invisible and devaluing the achievements and demonstrations of power by the "inferior sex" or attributed to men .
believe it is a problem of no particular gender and women's understanding that the patriarchal system not only excludes women but also to any sexual choice that no parameters in men. You just need to start thinking about how many women are in science books and history, addressing social struggles.

The issue of inclusion of women follows the same logic of inequality that has excluded over the history many groups, whether by race, religion, social class. To address this, must know what were the political decisions that create these scenarios.
are educated through what is said as what is omitted from what is shown as what is marginalized, which is nested, legitimate, devalued or punished.

We will meet this FRIDAY September 3 to 19 hours in our Faculty octagon.

What is ALBA?
ALBA is a proposed integration of all peoples, countries, governments, states and social movements live, act and influence in the Americas. This proposal has been prepared in recent years, from the choice of many progressive governments to adopt policies that passed anti-neoliberal and anti-imperialist and therefore opposed the proposal of the United States Government wanted to impose agreements FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas) since the signing in 1995 of an agreement between the U.S. government and various neoliberal governments that dominated the political situation in the continent.
ALBA At first the proposal was seen only as a government project, to promote trade and economic integration among Latin American countries and in opposition to the FTAA agreement.
Later, thanks to popular mobilization and struggle that the governments of Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil, Bolivia, gave the proposal that the FTAA was defeated, and a continental trade agreements even, strengthened other proposals such as MERCOSUR, the Andean Pact and the treaty of commerce of the towns TCP.
The Presidents of the governments of Venezuela, Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, Bolivia, and formally joined ALBA. Representatives from various Caribbean governments are sympathetic to the proposal but have not yet formally accepted. Social movements also involved in virtually all continental articulation networks such as peasants, popular movements, indigenous peoples, Afro-descendant movements, pastoral, social, Jubilee South against external debt, campaign against the FTAA, student movements and youth movements women, among others.

guiding principles for accession to ALBA:
The agreements and firmados entre gobiernos y representantes de los Estados, estaban presentes los siguientes principios fundamentales:

A partir the inclusion of representatives of social movements as part of the construction process of ALBA, they had increased the need to defend the following principles:

10. Practice permanent solidarity between all peoples of the continent.
11. Technological and productive integration
12. Combating social exclusion.
13. Human rights advocacy in the broadest sense: social, economic and cultural and labor.
14. Defending the rights of women.
15. Defense of food sovereignty.
16. Protection and preservation of the environment
17. Pluriculturidad defense of our people, valuing the contributions of native cultures, Afro-descendants and indigenous self-determination.
