2010/2011 
, with a total of 900 seats spread among 225 European universities.

The main novelty of this call is that it allows students to participate in the same year of the two forms of the Programme: Erasmus Erasmus Research and Practice. For this, the university must make the two rooms in a row and never simultaneously.
addition, the Erasmus edition of the next course includes the participation of non-EU students who are enrolled in University of Extremadura and have a valid residence permit in time to enjoy the mobility.
Although the final budget for next year is yet to materialize, aid to receive the scholarship can be very similar to the 350 euros per month of the current edition. If the student has benefited from a grant from the Ministry during the past year, will also receive 420 euros per month for up to 8 months of stay. The call has been made in the Rector of Badajoz by the Vice Chancellor for Coordination and Institutional Relations, Second Píriz , next to the Director of the Secretariat of International Relations, Maria del Mar Guerrero, and the department head of the Board of Extremadura, Antonio Aladro . The Vice President stressed the Erasmus and mobility of the university community as two of the initiatives that can build the European Higher Education Area.
Program Data
In the current year, 458 students are the UEx who are enjoying Erasmus Scholarship for Study and Practice 40 as Erasmus, 150 teachers stay teachers perform in the context of this program and 25 people from the Administration and Services Staff receive training actions in several European universities. On the other hand, the UEX welcomes 250 students from other academic institutions.
According to data provided by the Secretariat of International Relations at the University of Extremadura, the number of Erasmus students in this course than in the past has experienced an increase of 28%. Since the UEx would join the program during 1988/1989 , with 6 students, the evolution of the figures has been truly extraordinary, reaching 4,000 students over the different calls. Program Sicue / Seneca
The press conference also served to launch a call 2010/2011 SICUE Program (Exchange System among English universities.) This program is implemented by Conference of Rectors and enables English university students may spend part of their studies at another national university. To carry out this program, the UEX materialized agreements bilateral agreements with over 50 universities.
Currently 152 students of the UEX SICUE participating in the program and receive a budget of 500 euros per month, plus a travel grant of 120 euros. All information is also included in the website of the university.
