The Delegation of Students of Social Work organized SKILLS TRAINING WORKSHOP AIMED AT FUTURE PROFESSIONAL SOCIAL WORK SOCIAL . 2 Credits LC * 16, 17 and March 18, 2011 from 17:00 to 22:00 in the School of Social Work.
The workshop was created with the following objectives:
- know the components of human communication and properly handle basic social skills.
- differentiate between different types of behavior.
- Understanding the usefulness of channeling feelings so that there is effective communication .
- Learn different techniques to facilitate assertive communication.
- Give importance to nonverbal components that occur in communication.
- understand different social skills basic and practical application in the social sphere
- differentiate the different contexts in which communication occurs and be able to control how others address each of them.
This will involve a participatory approach and will cover the following contents:
- communication: verbal and nonverbal communication What
- Social Skills are
- Behavioral Styles: Inhibited, Aggressive and Assertive
- techniques and strategies
- esteem and assertive rights
- Social Skills in the social sphere: Conflict resolution and mediation skills
