Tastes Like Copenhagen Long Cut

BUSINESS OFFERS ... ABSTAIN ENGINEERS! TODAY AS ALWAYS

REPORT ACTS OF GENDER DISCRIMINATION
PART OF THE SCHOOL

official Newsletters faculty job offers that exclude women.

When we started looking, something that concerns us all and everyone is among other things, the job prospects. This concern is given to a greater extent in women and is enhanced with courses in hard sciences, would not think think that we close our doors sex, but is something we often accept as normal and "rules": any and all know that this happens in all areas and is something that is very naturalized in society.

macho attitudes, patriarchal and segregatorias are a product of social construction which was based on ideas generated in the collective existence difference of abilities, skills and tasks between men and women, giving the first places in the circles of real or symbolic power, leaving the latter as an "appendix", relegating them to small areas of private, domestic tasks, and maternal relatives.

But it happens that for several decades, women were gradually gaining their rights and penetrating circles reserved for men, both in the job as political and cultural development . therefore surprising that in our own power is not conferred the status of full equality by enabling the spread of jobs "only to men." Other colleagues had graduated before us give up our choice of activities incompatible with "the rules" and also engage in behaviors traditionally attributed to the "dominant sex."
believe that, despite legislation, far from being equal there is a clear and worrying naturalization exclusion. We denatured LO ZAR NATURALIZED and go to report these attitudes and claim what is our right, understanding that we are half of humanity and also parimos the other half. We CHANGE THESE RULES UNFAIR GAME.

This struggle must be given by women and men
that rely on changing society and committed to the fight.

Occasionally we do not go to claim for art's sake without foundation, but which is the reaction we have before our beloved attitude towards us FIQ:

When we receive tod @ s @ s We can not wait to get laburo, from the university offered us different offers ... but these deals are not for everyone ...
As once to vote Universal, which was for a universe made up of white adult males, excluding the right to vote to lower social classes, blacks and women.
Today we see that the case with laburo opportunities and the possibility of joining the labor market as a woman, it is generated by the attitude adopted by the business community, and our faculty management to support its position.

As we know, regularly comes to us by mail the B INFOFIQ EWSLETTER official sent by the Director of Student Affairs Eng Facundo Cuffia (Undersecretariat of faculty in charge of "student affairs"). At the same we get information of various kinds relating to the faculty and between this information get the much needed job offers ... and here comes the reason for our outrage.
The faculty by the official bulletins that often sends endorse this discriminatory attitude of the companies distributing job offers that exclude women from throughout the community FIQ. The last two mails (usually are sent but we refer to these as being the latest) were sent on 13 January and 3 March this year (attached).
outrageous and sad thing is that not only companies create and take care that we consider below but it is telling you your own professional trainer, your high house of studies should fight for your rights insertion, your academic unit FIQ, you Neoliberal del Litoral University (yes, the one with the Gender Programme) far from promoting equal opportunities, distributed to all students job offers where a high percentage radically exclude women, and they do it in a completely natural: "exclusive male," " preferably male " (here are a bit more subtle and give us some hope) , "SEXO MASCULINO", "NO MUJERES"   (si, si, en mayúsculas para que no se pase por alto) .

Ref.974 , 976, 977, 981, 985, 988, 996,1000, 1001, 1005, 1014, 1023

Newsletter of March 3: 20.83% (10 of 48 specials)
Ref. 1200, 1201, 1198, 1210, 1213, 1217, 1221 1223, 1225, 1233

For example:

It seems that engineering skills are granted only to men, and no matter how you study women (yes, all those hours that you burned the tabs are not worth studying as well as those of men) is not excluded by language skills, work experience, time or age requirements, no! it is simply because we are women and do not consider that our studies and capacity equivalent to those of men.

concern is with the ease and lightness that is the issue, it was sent by institutional and official mail to the entire community of the FIQ.

believe that the university or college in their absence should not stop sending only offers from companies that we shut the door to almost half of the only vegan students fact of being female but faculty should also take a critical and complaining about it, disprove and challenge bids should defend the rights of their students, claiming the post is open to everyone, and joint labor market policies for everyone.

Recognizing further that these companies are in a situation of illegality under INADI to adopt these policies for selecting candidates the charges by gender
(excluding male "," no women ", etc.)..
addition, both companies and the faculty are liable to the penalties of INADI.

In this respect it also denotes the market addiction with current university policies , which blindly obey and from the institution that large enterprises demand without stopping a second to think if they are legal or at least ethical, this also is reflected among other things in our curriculum.

This is nothing more nor less than another discussion and another discussion that we have as students of a public university and as such should be at the service of society, we must ask how and for whom we work in the service of who "sell" our knowledge.

8 MARCH
"INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY "

A little history ...
The designation of this day as the International Women's Day not have its origins in a vacuum but that derived from an age when women start to appear and star in their struggles rights.
  • 1857, New York, a time when more and more women are entering production, especially in the ra ma textile and where they were an absolute majority. The e xtenuantes days more than 12 hours for miserable wages rose at a textile mill worker who came to claim their rights. The protesters were attacked by police.
  • Half a century later, in March 1908, 15,000 workers marched the same city cry of "Bread and Roses!" , synthesizing in this slogan demands for increased wages and better living conditions.
  • 1908, 129 workers of a textile company in New York, organized, on strike and decided to occupy the claim made in labor rights, including: working day of 8 hours, Sunday rest, equal pay for equal work, termination of labor exploitation of children.
Given the strength of these workers and their refusal to leave the occupation, employer's response was immediate, causing a fire in the occupied factory. No worker survived. From then on, for 13 weeks, the textile workers staged a historic struggle that included repression, dismissals, starvation and arrests. But it succeeded.
In 1910, the National Congress of Socialist Women in Copenhagen, Clara Zetkin, German revolutionary, ho proposed in household to women, that is proclaimed March 8 "Fight of the Day Women to work pray World ".

In 1917, when commemorating this day in Russia, the textile workers took to the streets demanding "Bread, peace and freedom" , marking and the beginning of the greatest revolution of the twentieth century, leading to the seizure of power by the working class in October of that year.
Slowly, and as feminism has been gaining momentum worldwide, the Women's Day has lost its working-class character, becoming a day of fighting which claimed the rights of all women in all areas. Year after year, thousands of women take to the streets across the world to demand new rights, defend and conquer and fight against those laws that discriminate or reject the principle of gender equality and opportunity.
More interesting stories, we begin to visualize, value and assert our interest in history
    Comandante Ramona
    Brothel of San Julián
    guerrilla Women

    Women
Today we can say that they achieved many rights but by no means the battle is won. still are immersed in a society governed and organized according to male values \u200b\u200band parameters.
Today we fight for genuine ork t for everyone, equal pay for equal work, elimination of all forms of institutional and domestic violence, physical violence but also oral, free to decide about our bodies and our choice sexual trafficking in persons.
Women today expressed their willingness to participate on equal terms in areas that traditionally have been minority participation.

First we have to try to change the underlying problem, we must give a fierce fight roles and social impositions, the prejudices, stereotypes, patriarchal norms, to naturalization of injustice, leading to what the private public ...
and ask to what extent the limitations are imposed or impose to us ourselves.
We us and we decide how we want to be.

    Happy day all!

This date should serve to remind the achievements of women's groups, who have worked with courage and determination for change and, above all, to advance the struggle for equality and social liberation.
(Do not let another day transform them into commercial and empty)
