Historically, university extension practices have taken many forms of militancy and territorial base, more or less systematized practices, but many were born of a deep commitment to social transformation. In general, the experiences were driven and sustained for years by student organizations, and involved, as counterpart, a deepening of the criticism within the university and this has meant then the change in political practices.
