ANECA appreciates the quality system of 15 centers Report

28/04/2010. The National Assessment Quality and Accreditation (ANECA) has positively assessed the systems of internal quality assurance (SGIC), prepared by 15 Schools and Colleges of University of Extremadura, in implementing the principles correctly Program established by the AUDIT.

This program was launched in 2007 by ANECA in collaboration with the agencies counterparts in Catalonia and Galicia, and aims to promote the design and implementation of systems of internal quality in universities.

Specifically, the centers that have received validation of SGIC in the 2009 call are Faculty of Sciences, of Economics and Business, Law, Education, Business Studies and Tourism, Philosophy and Arts, Teacher Training, Medical, Veterinary, and Library and Information Science. Along with these faculties, the University Schools of Nursing and Occupational Therapy, Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and University Centers of Mérida and Plasencia.

Validation Quality Systems of these 15 centers in addition to those obtained in the 2008 call by the Ecole Polytechnique and School of Sport Sciences. Thus, University of Extremadura is placed at the forefront of quality management in teaching, being a English university in which all their own centers already have a quality system the approval of ANECA.

Once the validation of SGIC, the Centers have begun working with the support of Vice President of Quality and Continuing Education, in implementing them, in order to be eligible in time quality certification that prepares ANECA.
